Healthy Kids Day® is the YMCA’s annual community event dedicated to inspiring healthy habits in children and families. This fun, high-energy event features engaging activities focused on physical activity, nutrition, summer learning, and family connection. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a welcoming and safe environment for families in our community. Volunteers will support set up and clean up, activity station facilitation, assist with event logistics, support Vendors and Sponsors, and help ensure every child and family has a positive experience. Whether you’re volunteering individually, with friends, or as part of a group, your support helps make this impactful event possible! Volunteer Responsibilities May Include: - Greeting and directing families - Assisting with games, crafts, and activity stations - Supporting event setup and cleanup - Providing support to Vendors and Sponsors - Helping manage lines and crowd flow - Distributing materials or giveaways - Encouraging participation in activities

Deliver a Successful Community Event Provide organized and reliable volunteer support to ensure Healthy Kids Day runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently for all attendees. Promote Healthy Living for Families Encourage children and families to engage in activities that inspire physical activity, nutrition awareness, and positive summer habits. Increase Community Engagement Strengthen connections between the YMCA and local families by creating a welcoming, inclusive event environment. Support Youth Development Initiatives Reinforce the YMCA’s commitment to youth development by helping deliver enriching, family-centered programming. Create a Positive Volunteer Experience Offer volunteers meaningful, well-structured roles that build teamwork, communication, and community service skills.
